
If your myenergi app shows a light blue triangle on the Eddi tile, or a banner at the top saying a device is disconnected, your Eddi has lost its WiFi connection. Don't worry — this is usually straightforward to fix. This guide walks you through the full process, from preparing your phone to reconnecting your Eddi to your home WiFi.
Your Solis inverter will usually still show as online in Soliscloud — this is expected. The inverter and the Eddi use completely separate monitoring platforms.

Two indicators in the myenergi app confirm the Eddi has lost its network connection:
Before beginning the WiFi setup, check that the time, date, and time zone on the Eddi's physical display are correct. Incorrect time settings are one of the most common reasons the setup fails.
myenergi devices only work on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi — not 5 GHz. Before you begin, make sure your router is broadcasting on 2.4 GHz. If your router uses the same name for both bands, it should work automatically. Otherwise, check your router settings first.
These steps prevent your phone from dropping the Eddi's temporary network during setup:
In this step, you connect your phone directly to the Eddi's own temporary Wi-Fi network — not your home WiFi. Look at the Eddi's screen for the network name and passcode it is displaying.

Once the process is complete, you can now turn your Mobile Data back on.
If the issue persists, disable your phone's Wi-Fi and enable Airplane Mode for two minutes. Afterward, disable Airplane Mode and restart the process.
